About the Journal
The Kaduna Business and Management Reviews (KBMR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published twice a year by the Department of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Sciences, Kaduna State University.
Our purpose
KBMR's principal goal is the promotion of academic excellence in research in the management sciences, and the exchange of information between the academic world, the professions and business. Each issue is put together with practitioners as well as researchers in mind, and articles are selected to give the reader an analytical, applicable approach to managerial problems.
In practice that means work on how organisations actually perform: ownership structure and board attributes against financial results, service quality and customer loyalty, financial literacy and agent banking among small firms, employee engagement and collective bargaining, and the management of public institutions that behave, increasingly, like businesses.
Open access
Everything KBMR publishes is free to read, download and share from the day it appears. There is no subscription, no paywall and no embargo period. Publication is funded by author charges, set out in full under Fees and Charges in the Author Guidelines.
Submissions
The subject areas we cover, and the manuscripts that fall outside our remit, are on the Aims & Scope page. Submissions are made through this website; the Author Guidelines carry manuscript preparation, how review works, fees, ethics and copyright. Published work is in the Archives.
