This study sought to find out the effect of collective bargaining on employee productivity in electricity distribution companies ofnorthwestern Nigeria. The target population ofthe study was 2856 staff in Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company through the four states covered by this company (Kaduna, Sokoto, Zamfara and Kebbi). A representative sample of456 staff was obtained by using the Yamaneformula which was complemented with a 30% increment to compensate for non-response. This study targeted staff with at least 3 years of working experience in Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company across the states based on simple random sampling technique. The study used a descriptive research design to measure the effect of bargaining coverage, bargaining level, and degree of coordination as proxies of collective bargaining on employee productivity. The study used structured questionnaire to collect data which was analyzed through Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 22. Inferential statistics were used to establish the relationships that existed among the variables. The correlation coefficient results found that collective bargaining had a positive significant effect on employee productivity. The study, therefore, found out that collective bargaining had a significant effect on employee productivity.
